Testing New Lens
I'm told this is a Mocking bird. Beats me, but it has a wonderful song.
There are babies everywhere this time of year. This little guy is waiting, impatiently, for food from her (his?) father.
And, the wait is worth it. Dad delivers.
He's pretty proud of himself. Got the job done. Baby fed, Mom is happy. Life is good.
And the baby, well she/he is satisfied for the moment, but spies my camera.
What is that? Can I eat it? It looks dangerous!
Like I said, babies everywhere. The Canada Geese are all procreating. This couple has a nice gaggle.
These little fluff balls are really cute. They will grow quickly and gain the strength to migrate. Then, they will be back next year.
Even the Mourning Doves aren't immune from my "big lens."
One should never turn one's back on the flight path!
INCOMING! I didn't even dare publish the next several shots. It's just a bunch of feathers.
