201510 Camp DeBenneville Pines
Welcome to Camp DeBenneville Pines in Angelus Oaks, CA.
Relaxing in the main lodge. Fire actually felt good despite the 104 degree temperatures back home in Lake Forest.
Coffee, Knitting and good conversation. What more could you want?
Here's a view looking back toward the road.
Cabins nestled in the woods.
A Worship area as we head toward our cabin.
A beautiful setting for conversation, worship or simple quiet meditation.
Our home for the weekend.
Our front yard.
The porch, quite suitable for relaxing with wine and Kindle.
The mountains behind our camp.
Looking from the porch down to the worship area.
Beautiful clear sky and fresh air.
I'm trying to remember to shoot "stock" images. This looked like a good candidate. May show up on my blog some day.
Here's another possibility for stock image.
Our camp barely avoided being burned to the ground earlier in the year. This is just the beginning of the chard area behind and up the hill. Luckily, the wind was blowing away from camp whne the fire started.
More images of the burn area.
Wood for the winter.
Another stock photo?
And I love this one.
I managed to capture this excellent image of big foot.
Dinner is served.
