L to R: Best daughter in the world Heather, best wife in the world Penny and best grandson in the world Isaac. So looking forward to the new Africa Rocks exhibit.
It all starts with some monkeying around!
Southern Gerenuk out and about.
Elephant enters the log rolling contest.
Getting a pedicure.
Wait, where's my other hump? Well, I'll just take a nap until it shows up.
Turkey Vulture on watch.
Meerkat on patrol.
The San Diego Zoo has beautiful flowers as well.
This is the new bridge, for which we are grateful. We used to have to walk way down into the valley and then climb way up to the other side to get across the park. The bridge spans the valley.
This is my good side. Make sure my eye is in focus, Dude.
Here's a better angle.
New to the Zoo, baby Giraffe.
Someday, I'll be tall enough to reach the top of the feed basket!
Chow time!
Nap time. Oh, wait, it's always nap time.
Baby likes naps too - especially sitting on Momma's back!
More than rocks, beautiful "native" flora and animals on exhibit as well.
A Kopje is a small usually rocky hill especially on the African veld.
The Klipspringer said, "They didn't give me any lunch, so I'll just chew on this branch."
Rock Hyrax stay in the shade.
And the Dwarf Mongoose relaxes in the heat as well.
Another Rock Hyrax shot.
Caught this little fellow juicing up.
