San Diego Zoo 2015-07-09
Yes, another glorious day at the San Diego Zoo. And of course, the most colorful Mr. Peacock greats us.
Excuse him while he preens a bit.
He thinks this is his best side.
There is water everywhere as well as flowers of all kinds. This is a beautiful zoo.
And on the water, a beautiful swan.
Look! Over there! It's a Sky Ride!
I try to get a snapshot of the signs when I can get to them (usually crowded).
These beautiful animals have amazingly large eyes.
And long slender necks too.
The polar bears are great fun to watcy. Alas, no good pics this time though.
Wait, What's that peaking out of the polar ice?
And who's his friend?
This little guy was taking a very active bath!
He never went anywhere, just a lot of splashing.
And then he "settled down a bit."
And this little fellow was out in the elephant's pond all by himself. I suspect Momma was close by in the weeds though.
This handsome fellow was strutting about hunting bugs.
Another bath being had.
Isaac is tall, but the elephant is a bit taller!
Even in real life.
Out getting some noonday sun.
Llama nap.
Turtle nap.
